Montenegro and US Sign Historic Agreement on Infrastructure and Energy Investment

Montenegro and the United States have signed a historic agreement prioritizing key sectors for American investment, including the Adriatic-Ionian corridor, energy, the Port of Bar, and technological development. The agreement's Article 2 defines these priority sectors and projects, with the Adriatic-Ionian corridor at the top. This corridor aims to build combined highway infrastructure through Montenegro, connecting Albania with Croatia via Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, bridging the coastal gap between Corridors 5 and 8 of the Trans-European Transport Network.
