Czech Republic Sets Maximum Fuel Prices for July 17; Diesel Tax to Rise

The Czech Ministry of Finance has announced new maximum fuel prices effective Friday, July 17. The maximum price for Natural 95 gasoline will be 42.84 Czech koruna per liter, up from 42.21 Kč/l. The maximum price for diesel will be 41.18 Kč/l, up from 40.12 Kč/l. Additionally, the diesel tax is set to increase on Monday. Gas station operators are prohibited from charging more than these maximums; those found in violation face fines from the Specialized Financial Office.
