Five killed in Ukraine's Kherson region after Russian attacks

Five people were killed in Ukraine's southern Kherson region following a series of Russian attacks, according to the regional governor on Telegram. A 66-year-old man died after being struck by a drone, and a 35-year-old woman was killed in an attack on a gas station. Seven others were injured. The bodies of three elderly individuals, aged in their 70s and 80s, were also found in the region; their homes had been damaged in a Russian attack earlier this week. These incidents follow large-scale Russian strikes on multiple Ukrainian cities earlier this week that left at least 18 dead. In response, Ukraine conducted attacks on targets deep inside Russia, including reported strikes in St. Petersburg.
