Qantas launches world's longest 23-hour nonstop flight from Australia

Qantas has launched the world's longest commercial flight, a 23-hour nonstop route from Australia to New York or London, as part of its Project Sunrise initiative. The first test flight touched down in Australia after a 20-hour journey, and the airline has committed to the service despite rising fuel costs. The flights are operated using specially configured Airbus A350-1000 aircraft designed for ultra-long-haul travel.
